Community Development Institute (CDI) Training - Texas Basics

WHO:      Participants include community and economic development practitioners, city, county and state officials and community volunteers, non-profit staff and board members, chamber staff, private industry, municipal districts, and academics will find the Institute a valuable learning tool for the development of individual and community leadership skills.

Propane AutoGas Lunch & Learn - PERC & DFW Clean Cities

Propane Autogas Lunch and Learn on October 30, 2018 from 10 AM – 2 PM at NCTCOG offices at 616 Six Flags Drive, Arlington, TX.  Presented in collaboration with the Propane Education and Research Council. FREE and includes lunch!

Learn the advantages of including propane vehicles and equipment in a fleet.  Network with industry experts and other fleet and procurement professionals, get updates on the latest technologies and vehicles, and learn from peer fleets’ successes in North Texas using propane.  Information about upcoming funding opportunities through the Volkswagen Settlement and other programs will also be provided.  Propane vehicles and equipment will be displayed in the parking lot with ride and drive opportunities available, including a propane-powered law enforcement vehicle.  This workshop is particularly relevant for school transportation, public works, police, and landscaping applications.

NGVAmerica’s 2018 Drive NatGas: From Sea to Shining Sea Road Rally

November 2, 2018 from 11 AM – 1 PM at NCTCOG offices at 616 Six Flags Drive, Arlington, TX.  Presented in collaboration with the Texas Natural Gas Vehicle Alliance (TXNGVA).  FREE and includes lunch!

Join in the final stop of a series of events held across the State of Texas.  The TXNGVA is hosting this free luncheon featuring the 2nd Annual Lone Star NGV Awards, which will honor the efforts made by municipalities and agencies that are already reaping the benefits from natural gas vehicles.  Learn about the latest efforts by TXNGVA to advance natural gas vehicles and technologies in transportation, and gain knowledge about how to incorporate natural gas into the fleet.
